That option doesn't mean running it from the kernel. It means copyin it
into the initramfs, so it can be started before the root filesystem is
mounted. E.g. for typing your disk crypto passphrase.

Normally it should "just work". Since not many people use it, there
might be bugs. But at worse brltty will just start later in the boot
process.
