Thanks for the reply, Dave, I'm not sure what you mean by the -bhw option.
Could you clarify a bit or point me to a resource.

Try adding the -bhw option in case that makes a difference. If this resolves
the problem then please do let us know.

Which version of brltty are you using? Support for the newer HW models was
added somewhat recently.
