Thanks John, so if I plug the Brailliant BI 40X in via USB it should just
work. Which distro do you have installed? Paul

I ave  the same display and the same version of brltty and its working.
However, I run it as root and that may be the difference.  I have not tried
it with Bluetooth, just usb.
