[BRLTTY] Sudden USB disconnects on Focus 40 Blue

Dear list,

Running BRLTTY 6.6 (and Orca main) under Fedora 39 with X11.

Since today, my Focus 40 Blue braille display no longer works. Fedora 
received an update to kernel 6.7.7, but the issue is present with kernel 
6.7.6, too.

I have checked the USB-cable and the connections; they are all fine. An 
older Focus 40 is fine, too.

The BRLTTY service is running and active.
dmesg --follow gives me these lines, over and over again:

I have reset the braille display to its factory defaults (Right selector 
+ Right shift + Left mode + power), but it behaves the same, afterwards.

On a different Fedora 39 system, the issue is the same. My current Focus 
40 gives me the above lines in the system log, the older Focus works 
normally.

Can someone help me pinpoint the issue and make my Focus 40 work again?
