It actually is seeing the correct environment variable. Here's the relevant<br>
part of your log:<br>

   checking for python... /usr/bin/python3<br>
   configure: WARNING: Python module not found: sys<br>
   configure: WARNING: Python module not found: distutils.sysconfig<br>
   checking for cython... /usr/bin/cython<br>
   configure: WARNING: Python BrlAPI bindings not included<br>

So the actual problem is that those Python modules aren't being found so it<br>
refuses to include the Python bindings for Python3.<br>
