Yes, it does.

I'm sure the printer is using ASCII braille. Yes, brltty's brltty-ttb command should be able to do what you're looking for. To save me some time, could you please let me know the first line in your attached file which contains Unicode braille patterns, i.e.the first line which the printer is garbelling?
