Yes, PR 432 has no impact on the Python stuff. It's the limited API stuff that's causing that one. Is Python 3.8 maybe too old for it?

In fact, I can't even build the Python bindings for Linux anymore. Maybe it's because my system isn't the absolute latest, but, even so, that's not good. I'm starting to not like it.

I wonder if there's a missing package.
