Hello,

Mate-1.26 is not more buggy per se that Mate 1.24, so the issue could be with
the way it is packaged in Ubuntu 22.04. And Mate is still the best accessible
desktop environment. maybe GNOME is more on par with Mate on this respect but I
really don't know, not using it.
